Europe Travel Authorization for Visa Exempted Countries

Spain, like other countries in the Schengen Area, will introduce new entry rules requiring citizens from over 60 countries, previously exempt from visas, to obtain a travel authorization before entering. 

This change, starting in the first half of 2025, aims to strengthen European borders and enhance internal security through the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS).
