Zero replies to my online job applications

Okay, I want to tell you about those important but very simple things that we all need to know. I understand that you need help and I remember myself when I just move the broad without even knowing what it is to move abroad. I remember that I didn't know anything, but now almost five years later. I totally know few important and useful points.

However, there are so many things that you need to know and so many things that will make your life much easier. Okay, so let me start.

First of all, I would like to mention about covid restrictions and you will be able to find a bit about covid restrictions , but just to make this article ever green I want to mention that all the updated information can be found on the official government website of Health Ministry as well as Foreign Affair Ministry. Okay, so there you can read a lot of information about what's going on at the moment with restrictions and that's the official information. Okay, so that's very important to make sure that you check official sources. Okay, do not read those sources that arms trustful because you'll kill your mental health, but we don't want it. We want you to be healthy mentally. That's very important. This is why just make sure that you read only official sources. That's not the most attractive and the best website in this world. It will not look like Victoria's Secret website or something like this, but in search you can just type in covid information and you can read about covid information. 

Ways to find a job

Okay, the second point that I mention is finding a job. There are different ways to find a job. I would suggest trying to find a job online before you try to move to abroad. However, you can find the job physically. You can just print off your CV, go to different shops and hand your CV.

Zero replies to my online job applications 

Now I want to mention about online applications. Maybe you have noticed that maybe you send a few hundred of online applications, but you get zero replies. So this happened to most of us including me as well and I did not understand why I'm sending so many applications and I can't find the job. I thought that maybe looking for jobs online is like "Not Possible". You will not be able to find an online job. But what actually happens is that when we send our CVs from those online portals, there is an algorithm that checks them and tries to understand if your CV matches with what the company is looking for. What we need to do is we need to read job description and try to tailor our CV to adjust our CV according to the job description. So when our CV goes through the initial scanning process, then the algorithm tells yes to this kind of CV is suitable to us. Then the algorithm passes your CV to a real person. This is why I mention that it's very important to tailor your CV according to the job that you are looking. Otherwise your CV will not pass through that algorithm and your CV will not go to anyone. This is that you keep in mind. It's very important to send the CV but also adjust all your skills according to what those companies are looking for. 

LinkedIn platform

Another way to look for jobs is LinkedIn. I find LinkedIn a very important platform because I know people who found jobs by LinkedIn. However, it's very important to tailor our profile to make it nice, beautiful. You have to put a lot of information into your profile to be able to look good and to be able to be attractive for employers. So I'd recommend you to look into LinkedIn as well. That might be a very important platform and you can search for jobs rolling in as well and find some jobs like salespeople like, I don't know, maybe working like analytics, maybe working like digital marketing. So that would be very good to look for jobs on LinkedIn.
